Mark McKaig

Mark joined Lara, Shull & May, in 2002 and works with his clients to solve their long-term financial needs. He seeks to define long-term goals and achieve investment performance commensurate with those goals. More importantly, Mark aims to build lasting relationships, and enable his clients to have peace of mind about their overall financial situation.

Prior to entering the financial services field, Mark worked as a legislative assistant in the Washington office of a nationally known law firm where he concentrated on legislative and regulatory affairs. He also served on the staff of a Congressional Committee for five years following his graduation from the University of Hartford.

Active in both a professional and community capacity, Mark gives time and effort to a variety of organizations. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Rebuilding America (Christmas in April), in Montgomery County and is involved in other civic affairs.

Mark was born and raised in the Washington area and lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and four children. In addition to spending time with his family, Mark enjoys running, biking and reading.
