Account Transfer Process

In the next few days, you will receive a federal express package containing the necessary forms to transfer your account.

Below is a summary of the documents you will receive, along with an explanation of each. I will contact you in the next few days so that I can personally walk you through the process of filling out these forms and answer any questions you may have. Please don't hesitate to contact me in the meantime.

Account Transfer Form (ACAT)

You will receive one Account Transfer Form for each account you maintain. This form will need to be signed by the appropriate account owner(s) in order to initiate a transfer of your account(s) to RBC Capital Markets. The required signature will be clearly indicated on each form. Once an ACAT form has been submitted, assets are typically transferred within five to seven business days.

Signatory Paperwork

You will also receive the required forms for each account marked clearly for your completion and or signature.

Client Worksheet*

In order to protect your privacy and abide by industry regulations, I was unable to bring copies of your client files, account statements and records with us when I left our previous firm. Therefore, please complete a Client Worksheet in order to expedite the opening of your account(s).

Once your paperwork is returned your account(s) should be transferred in 5-7 business days to RBC Capital Markets.
